Since the beginning, the strength of The PowerCat Group has always been the skilled and dedicated people who make up the company. From our senior leadership and engineers to our dealers and production specialists, every member of our team is dedicated to producing the best possible boating experience for our customers.
Andrew V. Brown
President
A career entrepreneur with a passion for manufacturing, Andrew Brown has been involved in composite manufacturing for the boating industry since the late 90s. He's always wanted to be in business for himself, and when he was presented with the opportunity to buy into WorldCat, he jumped at the chance.
WorldCat has flourished and grown, and with the purchase of main competitor Glacier Bay, Andrew knew it was time to expand his business to embrace every sector of the power catamaran market. He consolidated WorldCat and Glacier Bay, along with the newly created CarolinaCat and the recently purchased Livingston Boats, into a single company: The PowerCat Group.
As president of The PowerCat Group, Andrew is dedicated to building a great company, one that brings modern systems and processes to the boating industry. But even more importantly, he's committed himself to spreading the word about power catamarans and letting boaters understand the advantages the twin hull design has over monohulls.
Andrew holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BSE in Operations Research and Computer Science from Princeton University.
